Breaking the Glass Ceiling: do gender stereotypes impact political success?

In recent months, the world’s political stage has featured many prominent women such as Hillary Clinton, Theresa May and Angela Merkel. The fact that they are women is still at the forefront of the international media, in part because it is still not commonplace for women to be in positions of power. These politicians’ gender identities undoubtedly shape their journeys, perception and portrayal in the public sphere.

Join us for an evening of discussion on whether gender impacts political trajectories and on whether there is hope for a more gender-neutral political scene in the future.

Registration starts at 7pm.
